Suzanne Pleshette
Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, died on January 19 in 2008. She was an American actress, voiceactress, TV, and film director. Pleshette started out in the theatre. She appeared in films in the late 1950s. Then, Pleshette was a prominent actor in films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (12001). Later, she appeared in various television productions and often played guest roles. She played Emily Hartley from 1972 to 1978 on The Bob Newhart show on which she was awarded a number of Emmy Award nominations.
